Recipe by Abby Berman Mazenod
There are few things I can enjoy more than a refreshing icy cold cocktail on a hot summer afternoon. I work in a bar, and make traditional Moscow Mules all the time. I love them, I really do… but sometimes it’s nice to spice up an old recipe! So lately I have been playing around with the mule idea… and I have found that this is one combo that I LOVE! It’s super easy. Try it out! Maybe you’ll like it too!
Blackberry Mint Mule:
2 oz. vodka of choice
1 oz. Chambord
3 oz. ginger beer of choice
2 lime wedges
1/4 cup of fresh/frozen blackberries/mixed berries
5 mint leaves and 1 mint sprig
mule mug (just if you want it to be pretty and feel fancy 🙂 )
Place 5 blackberries and 5 mint leaves at the bottom of mule mug, and squeeze 2 lime wedges over them. Discard the lime wedges. Muddle the three ingredients at the bottom of the glass. Add vodka and Chambord and stir. Add ice- fill it to the top of the glass. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with the rest of the berries and the mint sprig. Sip and enjoy, knowing that you totally rock at making cocktails!
Enjoy! Happy summertime drinking!
